An interview with artist Janet Lance Hughes. During the 2014 Hay Festival the artist exhibited eleven portraits of modern Welsh icons, including Rob Brydon, Professor Steve Jones and Bryn Terfel.
After the exhibiton I asked Janet how she prepared her subjects for portraiture.

RHYS DAVIES for Cassone magazine
In March 2012, I went to the Open University, Milton Keynes for the Association of Art Historians (AAH) annual 3-day conference, as co-convenor of the Poster Session. On the train back to London I met Rhys Davies, Senior Lecturer in Media Arts at Royal Holloway, University of London, and co-convenor of the AAH session 'Modernism's Intermedialities: From Futurism to Fluxus'. We discussed Rhys's current research and future projects. I was fascinated by his 'sound' projects and he agreed to an interview, to tell me more.

I met Mike Nicholson at Whitechapel Gallery at the London Art Book Fair where he was one of the exhibitors. He was selling his various series of 'zines', to collectors who knew exactly what they wanted. Zine culture was new to me; and Mike agreed to an interview to explain the concept and his success with it.
